OLG Casino: Will be promoting garbage-free lunches to their approximately 360 employees through an extensive educational program, and a chance to win one of many great prizes for anyone who comes to work with a garbage-free lunch. All 14 members of their Green Team will be conducting random patrols of their lunch room and giving a ballot to anyone who has a garbage-free lunch.

OLG will be also setting up an educational display with information about waste reduction and the impacts of garbage on our environment. They will also be posting tips and suggestions for reducing waste.

Canadian Tire Stores: On October 18th, 19th, & October 25th, 26th from 10AM to 5PM all Canadian Tire Stores in Ontario, in partnership with Ontario Power Authority, will be offering rewards for recycling. Anyone can return their old room air conditioner or dehumidifier and receive a $25 Canadian Tire Bonus Card. Also, anyone can return their old halogen floor lamp and receive a $10 Canadian Tire Bonus card. All items returned will then be transported to a responsible recycle location.
